Practical skills for doctors working in emergency and acute medicine in line of the Royal College of Emergency medicine curriculum.

A 2-day course aimed at doctors, ACPs, radiographers or other medical professionals working in acute care setting. Designed and carried out by instructors with abundance of experience in the use and application of USS.
The course teaches knowledge and practical skills as per Royal College of Emergency Medicine curriculum. Candidates will have group as well as one to one teaching with constructive feedback from the instructors. Suitable for healthcare professionals of differing abilities in using USS or those with no experience at all.

- Basic physics and Indications
- USS Vascular access
- Focused Assessment with Sonography in Trauma (FAST)
- Assessment of the Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA)
- Focused Echocardiography in Life Support (ELS)
- Additional applications on Cardiac, Thoracic and IVC scanning
- Supervised hands on practice on live models and mannequins
